The Adventures of Four Dudes in Split, Croatia
Just like the wise words of The Dude, “Take it easy, man,” we decided it was time for some serious chill and adventure vibes in the beautiful city of Split, Croatia. So four companions from Skåne packed their bags, put on their adventure hats, and set off on a journey to get a little sun, a little sea, and a lot of fun.
Day 1: Holding Our Breath and Holding On
The first day kicked off with some team-building—not your usual trust falls, though. Nah, we went for something way cooler: apnea training and freediving in a pool. Nothing like holding your breath for as long as possible to build camaraderie, am I right? After all the pool shenanigans, we treated ourselves to plenty of seafood and beer, just as any reasonable dude would do.
To top it off, we took a stroll through the halls made famous by Game of Thrones. Honestly, walking in the footsteps of dragons made us feel like the real kings of Westeros. Later, we slept in a castle hotel above dungeons, and I’ve got to admit, there were a few moments we worried the floors would give in. Nobody wants to end up face-to-face with a dragon, especially if it’s in a spooky dungeon. But hey, we made it—fear is just another spice of life.
Day 2: Into the Deep Blue
Day two was all about going deep—literally. We dove straight down into a cave about 50 meters deep (at least according to our guide). It was a total thrill, like disappearing into the unknown, just letting the sea take us where it wanted. From the buoy, Masar set a company record at 17 meters, an achievement worth more than a few high fives and celebratory beers.
After the underwater adventures, we returned to shore, enjoyed more incredible food, and took a long walk along the coastline. We ventured far enough to almost convince ourselves we were the first people to step into some of these places (okay, maybe a few tourists got there before us, but let’s not kill the vibe—it was our adventure). There was beer, coffee, tea, and the best of company—everything you need to make a perfect finale in Split.
Day 3: Back to Reality
On the final day, we had an early breakfast and took an easy trip back home. Short, sweet, and exactly what we needed—just like The Dude would have wanted it.
Split, Croatia, you treated us well. Whether it was freediving, feasting, or walking in the footsteps of dragons, we got a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and good old-fashioned dude vibes. Until the next one, keep it easy, folks.
